So here it is. I played with the columns and placement. Made it all a little edgier. What do you think now?

This is my rushed magazine that we did last term. As far as changes go on it I need to make a ton. I think I be a little more edgy with the whole thing. I think I need to work on the typography (as usual). Especially from page 4 on... I really like my concept and my content. I just feel when I started this whole thing I didn't know where I could take it and so I limited myself with this one. But now that I know I can take it farther. I want to change it up a lot.

I think as far as changes go with this piece I will probably change around the placement of a few text on the insert. I really would like input on this one. thanks!

sadly enough I had to come up with another solution for the cover of the catalog due to the image on the cover being too small. So to solve this problem I uses the front and back image of the shoe as the front and back of the cover. I think its a nice alternative. I also took out the table at the end of the catalog and made it more like a list of information about the shoe. I moved around the self-mailer on the back because I felt the mailer needed to be more of a separate element from the whole design. What do you think? What else should I add or take from this? Your opinion would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Button Beauties is a shoe catalog for Zappos.com which displays the seychelles petticoat shoe. The catalog allows you to view all of the different colors of shoes offered as well as more detailed information regarding the shoe. The whole design is in a button theme to give this fashion feel!

I don't know about you all but I had an amazing first year in the Integrated Media Program. I learned a lot of new things. Got to explore my creativity in way I never imagined and met an amazing bunch of people. Thanks everyone for making this year amazing and I can't wait to see you all in the fall! Have a great summer! Illegally downloading music. Have you ever done it? Come on you know you have. And if you haven't maybe your excuse for saying that is that you didn't know it was illegal to download. But that might just be your own little lie as well. Anyways doesn't matter because the point is is that it is stealing. And you can make all of the excuses that you want but if you are getting it for free off the internet, chances are its not free. I hate to break this to you but nothing is free these days. You have to PAY FOR IT! Sorry but its life. Just because its easy to steal doesn't make it not stealing either. But you may be wondering why should I care? Why should I stop stealing music if I am never going to get caught? So I went to this website (musicunited.org) that is devoted to this issue, and believe me this is a bigger issue then you think, and they asked the question "why shouldn't I?" and here is their answer...
